Wat Arun Rajwararam (Thai: วัดอรุณ, Thai pronunciation: [wát ʔarun], "Temple of the Dawn") is a Buddhist temple in the Bangkok Yai district of Bangkok. The full name of the temple is Wat Arunratchawararam Ratchaworamahawihan (วัดอรุณราชวรารามราชวรมหาวิหาร).

On (Western) New Year's Day a number of Bangkok landmarks are opened free of charge to Thai nationals. Although I was unable to take advantage of the free admission, I was able to access a higher level of the prang than is usually open to the public.
